OEM 01 · DAY 0

NDA & drawings

We sign your NDA or issue ours, then receive 2D/3D files — or reverse-engineer CAD from your sample. Capacity, weight and fill-height engineering verified by our team.

OEM 02 · WEEK 1

DFM review & quote

Design-for-manufacture review (draft angles, distribution, emboss depth), then a firm quote: mould cost, per-piece price by volume tier, container loading.

OEM 03 · DAYS 25–35

Mould & first samples

Mould cut in Firozabad's tooling ecosystem; first off-tool samples couriered with a dimensional report against your drawing.

OEM 04 · SEAL

Sealed sample

You approve; both sides retain sealed samples. The QC plan is signed — tolerances, AQL classes, decoration criteria. This document governs every future lot.

OEM 05 · PILOT

Pilot lot

A pilot production run validates cavity consistency and packing before bulk. Photo QC report issued.

OEM 06 · SHIP

Bulk & reorder

Bulk production, optional third-party inspection, supervised stuffing. Your mould stays secured for reorders that match the sealed sample, lot after lot.

The questions every OEM buyer asks first.

Who owns the mould in an OEM program?

You do, when you fund it. OEM moulds are buyer-owned assets held securely at Glastic, used exclusively for your orders, and releasable to you on request. NDAs are signed before drawings are exchanged.

What do you need from us to quote an OEM glass?

A drawing (2D PDF or 3D STEP), target capacity in ml, glass weight if critical, decoration intent and annual volume estimate. If you only have a sample or sketch, our team reverse-engineers the CAD for you.

How long does a new mould take?

25–35 days from approved CAD to first physical samples. After your sealed-sample approval, a pilot lot runs before bulk — first container typically ships 60–80 days from order.

What is the minimum volume for OEM?

Mould economics work from about 10,000–24,000 pieces (one 20-ft container) for most articles. For multi-cavity moulds and annual programs, per-piece costs fall sharply with volume.
